"PIXEL" is a magazine I created as my second final project during my year at EINA. It draws on "Provoke" by Kōji Taki and Takuma Nakahira, reworking its spirit for a contemporary, digital context. The magazine explores how images circulate today, how photographs are destroyed, reinterpreted, disseminated, and repurposed in the digital world.
To investigate this, I worked with a range of tools and techniques: ASCII, surveillance cameras, scanners, panorama functions and glitch aesthetics. each reflecting a different way images are transformed once they enter the digital sphere.
